Special Issues of Illinois Library Systems: Studies

Illinois Library Systems occasionally commission studies on issues of importance to all Library System members.

One such issue that Illinois Library Systems has focused on is that of the future of Illinois Library Systems. The study, Shaping Priorities for the Future of Library Systems, which was completed by Paula Dempsey, Kathryn Deiss, and Amanda McKay, focused on three key areas: Technology and the Future of Libraries, Social Change and the Future of Libraries, and Library Systems and the Future of Libraries.
